Overview:

The position of Civil EIT or PE specializing in Water/Wastewater is crucial to our organization's infrastructure projects. The individual will play a key role in designing, managing, and implementing water and wastewater systems that are essential for public health and environmental protection.

• Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects
• Preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, reports, and design drawings
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive project plans
• Performing hydraulic analysis and modeling for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
• Ensuring projects comply with regulatory standards and environmental regulations
• Managing construction activities and providing technical support during the construction phase
• Conducting quality control and assurance checks on engineering deliverables
• Participating in client meetings and effectively communicating project progress and recommendations
• Providing support in the development and review of project budgets and schedules
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices
• Monitoring industry developments and incorporating best practices into project designs
• Preparing and reviewing project documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations throughout project lifecycles

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of water and wastewater systems
• Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD, EPANET, and WaterCAD
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and environmental standards for water/wastewater projects
• Proven experience in project management and delivering projects within budget and schedule constraints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and client interaction
• Ability to perform hydraulic analysis and modeling for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
• Knowledge of construction practices and ability to provide technical support during the construction phase
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities for engineering challenges
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with industry trends and willingness to continuously enhance technical knowledge
• Understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to engineering projects
