Volt is hiring CNC Operators in the city of Brea.
As a CNC Operator, you will: - Manufacture products in accordance with Engineering drawings
- Adhere to all department and Company quality standards
- Check product dimensions utilizing proper equipment
- Refer any issues regarding the CNC Lathe area to senior leads or supervisors
- Assure compliance to all department and Company quality standards
- Record, as required, all productivity on Company system
- Clean and maintain machinery according to department and Company standards
- Adhere to all Company safety regulations
- The ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Positions are temp to hire. Hours are 1st shift, 4am – 2:30pm (10 hour days). You also have to flexible to work 6 – 8 hours on occasional Saturdays.
The ideal candidate will have: - A minimum of 1 year or more of operation experience with CNC Lathes (such as Okuma, Takisawa, Swiss, Doosan, etc.).
- Ability to learn to set-up a CNC lathe (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading of manufacturing drawings, and first article buy-off) on FANUC or OSP (Okuma) controls.
Pay Rate: $24/hr
