Dispatcher

Our team is currently looking for a Full-Time individual that has a dynamic phone presence and solid customer service skills to fill our Dispatcher opening.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is organized and with high attention to detail and thorough follow-up in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Coordinate and manage available drive team to meet customer transportation needs.
• Dispatch drivers efficiently to maximize daily productivity
• Daily track and trace to ensure on time deliveries to AJ Transport customers. Prompt communication of all deviations from expected schedule.
• Field and resolve incoming calls from drivers and customers
• Work in conjunction with maintenance team to track, schedule and route equipment for all preventative maintenance/repair needs in accordance with maintenance schedule.
• Support operations manager in driving change management to ensure team by in and compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Bolster driver retention via relationship building with the drive team.
• Daily review/audit of driver paperwork to ensure billing accuracy
• Weekly touch points with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong working relationships
