Job Description:

The Facilities Maintenance /Building Technician performs basic repair and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities may include basic electrical repairs, basic plumbing, HVAC operation and repair, mechanical equipment maintenance, painting, etc. In addition, routine electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment inspections will be performed. Responds promptly to identified equipment malfunctions. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from co-workers, and/or supervisors and other miscellaneous tasks.

Additional duties include: - Preventative maintenance for all mechanical equipment. - Inspect emergency generators and fire pumps. - Repair and maintain carpet, doors, and hardware. - Routine inspection of buildings and grounds to ensure they are debris-free. - Availability after hours for work assignments or emergency calls.

Qualifications:

· Minimum two years of maintenance experience.

· High school diploma or technical school certification.

· Have/maintain a driver's license.

· U.S. Work Authorization.

· Knowledge of the English language.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

· Ability to work well alone or in a team.

· Working knowledge of various equipment and their operations related to the job description.

· Customer-oriented and friendly.

· Strong prioritization and time management skills.

· Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.

· Ability to follow verbal instructions.

· Reliable and punctual.

· Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines.

· General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques.

· Basic computer skills preferred.

Physical Demands:

· Heavy lifting with Personal Protective Equipment (up to 50lbs)

· Ability to bend, climb, walk, sit, and stretch. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, tolerate long periods of standing and/or sitting

· Ability to use a ladder

· Frequent local travel

Hiring Requirements:

Compensation and Hours:

· 8-hour shift

· Monday to Friday

· Salary: $15-22/hr.

· Hours per week: 40, with potential for flexible scheduling based on maintenance needs.

· Shift: Day shifts with occasional on-call availability.

Experience:

• Building maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
