The essential functions of this role include: Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring project progress, and managing service members to ensure goals are met. Handling customer complaints quickly and professionally to maintain good relationships. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as managing invoices, processing orders, and tracking inventory. Resolving service problems and improving methods to increase productivity. Monitoring department issues and creating methods to lessen recurring issues. Auditing work and customer service to ensure standards and productivity goals are met. Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and dealers. Creating relationships with commercial businesses; selling maintenance agreements. Updating service department policies as needed. Coordinating service department training. Onboarding and training new employees. Scheduling and performing team member reviews. Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and remaining current on standards. Being available for emergency technician questions during evenings and weekends. Performing other duties as assigned.
