This is a non-code Military Exempt position. To qualify you will need to furnish proof of your Illinois National Guard military service. The Department of Military Affairs is looking to hire a Military Engineer Technician located out of Camp Lincoln. This position under direction and within prescribed policies and procedures and available resource constraints, performs difficult and technical paraprofessional work that may require professional facility engineering decision and/or consultation with an outside professional engineer. The Department of Military Affairs works with the members of the Illinois Air and Army National Guard. We welcome all interested applicants to apply.
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school, plus two years of college or technical school training in facilities engineering or related fields.
