We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a purchasing agent in the wholesale industry. As a purchasing agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of products for our company. In this role, you will review inventory reports, collaborate with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands. You will also be responsible for sourcing new products, evaluating suppliers, and managing relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make important decisions quickly. Additionally, you should have a comprehensive understanding of the wholesale industry and be familiar with procurement software and systems.
