North Fulton ENT, a privately-owned ENT practice in Roswell, GA is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to join our team. We have been helping patients in our community since 1989 and we are passionate about providing both the best ENT and Audio healthcare technology available and the best patient experience possible. We seek an administrative front office professional who is passionate about helping people and interested in developing a career in the field of ENT.

This position is responsible for all aspects of scheduling surgery. Performs insurance verification and pre-certifications. It requires excellent communication skills, managed care organizations, physicians, hospital surgery scheduling departments, and outpatient surgery scheduling departments all while offering polite and professional customer service. Managing the physician’s daily calendar, including blocking doctors schedules when needed, confirming appointments, and daily reminders.

The following DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES are central to the role:

• Check & respond to emails
• Check & return voicemails daily
• Scheduling surgeries, pre and post op appointments
• Answer all patient/parent questions regarding surgery or procedures to ensure compliance and patient satisfaction or route it to the appropriate person
• Insurance verification
• Maintains records of all verified surgeries and procedures if required.
• All other tasks as assigned

To ensure success candidates should also possess the following EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

• Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients or customers
• An ability to communicate verbally & in writing with utmost clarity
• Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software
• Knowledge of various healthcare insurance carriers
• High School Diploma
• Business school or Associate degree preferred
