Join the BrandStar Studios team this summer as a part-time Production Intern gaining hands-on experience in television production!


THE POSITION

Production Interns support Producers to bring the creative vision for a filmed production to life. They are involved in all aspects of the creative process - pre-production, production, and post-production. The duties and responsibilities of a Production Intern include:

• Assist in the creation of script outlines and script writing.
• Assist Producers with prop styling.
• Fulfill preparation needs of pre-production including printing outlines, creating cue cards, creating and distributing call sheets, etc.
• Participate in production events - location shoots and in-studio shoots - and provide support to Production Assistants, Floor Director, and Producers.
• Act as back-up resource on equipment such as teleprompter as needed.
• Work with editors and assist in editing segments as needed.

Must be able to work a varying schedule to support production efforts during non-business hours.

Experience and Skills
A successful Production Intern candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Television and Film Production or related major
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Prior hands-on technical experience preferred. (Can be from school projects.)
