Job Description
Hourly Pay Rate: $25-$32 /hr
We are currently seeking a Welder that will focus on TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel. Responsibilities include interpreting dimensional drawings, gathering and cutting materials to specifications, setting up and squaring off the workpiece, and performing tack welds. Upon supervisor approval, the Welder will complete the final welding process, ensuring clean, smooth, and strong welds. The role primarily involves working with square tubing to construct frames and other simpler tasks, with the potential to progress to pipe and tube welding as experience is gained.
Ideal Experience
· High School Diploma or GED.
o Having an associate's or a technical degree would be a plus.
· Ideally 3-5+ years of TIG Welding (GTAW) years’ experience.
· Experience welding in a variety of materials such as stainless steel
· Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, levels, and squares for the fit-up and tracking of Stainless-Steel Frames.
· Experience griding and polishing frames with an angle grinder.
· Experience with pipe and tube welding is a huge plus.
· Experience in welding X-Ray Tested Pipe is a big plus.
· Ability to use Horizontal band saws to cut steel frames.
· Ability to drill/mill mounting holes.
· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
