Calling ALL TIG welders in the Tampa area!!! Mobile Staff Solutions is now hiring TIG welders.

This position joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weld able material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.

Essential Functions:

• Stainless Steel TIG welding Weld metal parts on a production line using welding gun or gas or arc welding equipment
• Connect hoses and turn valves to release fuel gas and oxygen to ignite mixture Insert weld rod into portable holder
• Guide torch along weld line to bend, melt, or build up metal Fuse parts together, seal tension points, and add metal to build up parts
• Correct malformation in parts and hammer out bulges or bends Read blueprints and engineers specifications
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned area Maintain all safety standards Support other departments as necessary
• Perform additional assignments in accordance with the Shop Supervisor's direction
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

• Regular lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 45 pounds
• Regular pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Walking and standing for long periods of time

• Grasp and manipulate objects

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED Minimum of one year of related experience
• Post-Secondary Certificate awarded for training completed after high school, preferred (examples: welding program, construction trades)
