Anderson Pond Design is a family-owned, local company that brings the highest level of quality, professionalism, and service to our customers. The right candidate for this position will report to the owner of the company. This position is responsible for the construction, design, and repair of hardscape and water features (koi ponds, waterfalls, etc.) for our clients in Tulsa and surrounding areas. This is an outdoor, labor-intensive position that requires lifting heavy objects and knowledge of pond water chemistry is a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Oklahoma ID, with a clean record
• Ability to work outdoors in different types of weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, cold, and rain).
• Capable of heavy lifting (50-100 pounds)
• Comfortable with extensive walking.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with a variety of people including clients and other team members.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Possess basic math skills for purposes of calculating appropriate levels of product applications.
• Daily travel around the Tulsa metro area is required.
• Ability to work independently and with the team.
• Ability to take direction from management and/or owner
• Ability to work various hours and the occasional weekend, as necessary
• Drug-free environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (not required, will train the right person):

• Knowledge of aquatic maintenance techniques is preferred, but not required
• Experience in pond management, is a plus, but will train the right person.
• Familiarity with the techniques and equipment used in pond management and repairs.
• Familiarity with building with natural stone materials
